FAQ
  • How do IVs work?
Intravenous (within the vein) therapy delivers fluids and nutrients directly into the blood stream, bypassing the digestive system. This enables the body to absorb almost 100% of the vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. In short, it can be the fastest, most efficient delivery method to distribute vital fluids and nutrients throughout your body.
  • How will I know which IV is right for me?
A qualified medical professional will discuss your health history, current medications, symptoms and expectations in order to find the right IV for you.
  • Who will administer the IV?
One of our fully licensed and accredited registered nurses or our board-certified physician assistant will administer your IV. We also have a supervising physician (MD) available for questions or consultations.
  • Does IV therapy hurt?
Typically, not at all. You may feel a pinch when the IV is inserted. We use only the best equipment and techniques to make each experience as comfortable as possible.
  • What are some potential side effects?
Other than feeling great, IV therapy side effects are usually minor and temporary. Bruising and soreness at the IV site is a possibility. Far less common side effects include, but are not limited to: a risk of infection and/or allergic reaction. Our medical professionals are well-versed in identifying and managing side effects in the rare case that it should happen.

Everyone has different needs. Some people need IVs weekly, others only monthly or as needed. You should tailor your IV treatments based on your bodies demand. Our licensed medical providers will assist you with tailoring your treatments to get the maximum benefit.
  • How long will an IV take?
After we discuss your state of health and specific needs, the infusion takes about an hour.
  • What is in the IV bag?
Vitamins! The same kind you take daily, but with an almost 100% absorption rate. The body's gastrointestinal tract typically burns 70-80% of a vitamin's potency. The unique blend of vitamins is diluted with (1L) of 0.9% normal saline.
  • Who can benefit from IV therapy?
Everyone! Whether you feel awful or amazing…IV therapy can make you feel better! IVs are great for helping to combat altitude sickness, hangovers, dehydration, stress, fatigue, minor colds/viruses, lack of energy…and so much more! IVs can also boost athletic performance/recovery, boost immunity and provide you with a healthy glow.
  • When will I feel the effects?
Because we are bypassing the GI tract, the effects are typically felt within the hour of treatment and can continue for a several days after. Some of our treatments are designed for long term benefits (immunity defense, athletic performance/muscle recovery, health and beauty) and not necessarily an immediate “boost”.
  • Can I use IV hydration to prevent a hangover or illness?
